You will be picked up at your hotel or nearest bus stop and we will let you know when we´ll be there (pickup time depends on the month). It will be though between 20:00 – 22:00. Then the search begins, and our tour experts have been researching for that night where the best chances are to see them. You will be entertained all the time, and hear stories and knowledge about all you ever wanted to know about this phenomenon, Iceland and just feel free to ask anything. Then we go northern lights „hunting!” The northern lights are a natural phenomenon so they are a little unpredictable. But no worries, if you don´t „catch“ them that night, you are always welcome to come again until you will see them. The tour is approximately four hours long. The Super-Jeeps are extremely comfortable and are equipped with WiFi and A/C. You can also charge your phone in the jeep if it runs out of battery! We offer blankets if you get cold, but the super-jeeps are of course always warm and cozy. During that four hours time, we will search for the lights and we offer a nice and friendly atmosphere which you will remember from your trip to our nice little country.

Landmannalaugar Winter Tour
Super-Jeep tour: Experience the adventurous Landmannalaugar in winter! This one is for those who like adrenaline tourism and adventures…and aren´t afraid to try something different. This tour is available from 15th of September until 15th of June. Not many bus companies offer a tour to Landmannalaugar during the winter. It is quite exciting though, as you must travel by a well-equipped bus, which ours certainly are! This day tour will take place on Saturdays and Wednesdays during the winter, if the forecast allows, and is an excellent addition to your adventure in Iceland. After the pickup, we will drive to Hveragerði, which is a small town 30 minutes from Reykjavik. There we will stop a Sunnumörk and eat at Almar bakery where everyone can feast on a delicious pastry. We will then drive through Selfoss and through Þjórsárdalur. You will see the gorgeous volcano Hekla and you will be able to take some photographs to post to Facebook and Instagram! You´ll also see the exciting waterfall Hjálparfoss where we stop. At Hrauneyjar we will stop for about 20 minutes and there is a hotel where you can buy snacks and use the bathroom. That´s one great photo-op too! Sigöldufoss stop. and Frostastaðavatn is landmarking which will not go unnoticed. Then we will arrive at Landmannalaugar. Please bring some bathing suit and towels. You can bathe in that stunning geothermal water which is warm all year around. There are no shops so we recommend you take some food and drinks with you. On the way back we will then stop at Hrauneyjar again and the last stop will be in Landvegamót or Hveragerði on our way back to Reykjavík. This trip will be around 12 hours long or even longer, depending on the weather.
Ice Cave Tour

Ice Cave Tour
The Silver Circle and Ice Cave tour is an exquisite day tour you can only get with us! The tour takes about 10-12 hours and a meal is included. The tour starts in Reykjavík where you will be picked up at your hotel at approx. 8 o´clock. The bus is warm and has free WiFi and charging stations for your mobile phone. The guide will certainly be friendly and answer all of the questions you might have! Next we head to Hvalfjörður, which is a beautiful fjord and the roads are kind of wavy but interesting. Then we drive through the summer cabin neighbourhood in Skorradalur and reach the legendary Borgarfjörður. You will see the beautiful Deildartunguhver which is Europes highest outflowing hot spring. It is a natural beauty. Interesting fact: The water from Deildartunguhvers hot spring is also piped to the towns of Borganes and Akranes for heating! Our next destination is the historical Reykholt. There we stop and the guide will tell you all about this intellectual center of Iceland which was for many years one of the most important schools of the country. The poet and politician Snorri Sturluson lived in Reykholt during the Middle Ages. Records of the Old Norse language and mythology of medieval Iceland by Snorri Sturluson are are invaluable to modern scholars. Here the remains of his farm and a bathroom with hot pot „Snorri´s Pot“ can be seen and and a tunnel between the bath and the house can still be visited. Then we stop at the beautiful waterfalls, Hraunfossar/Barnafossar. Hraunfossar are often described as being „wide, yet gentle.” The waterfall is considered unusual because it is actually made of thousands of falls that flow out of solidified lava and run as tiny waterfalls and rapids into the Hvítá River. The Barnafoss waterfall is at the same place, yet another Icelandic gem. The color of the water can be mesmerizing. The name Barnafoss translates as “child’s waterfall” and as legend would have it Barnafoss used to have a bridge. The bridge was built by a mother and also destroyed by her, because of her two children who all fell from the bridge to their deaths. Now is time to head to Langjökull, the second largest glacier in Iceland. The name is actually translated as “The Long Glacier” and is 1355m high. The area is about 950 km2 and it rises between 1200 and 1300 above sea level. You will be taken to the man made ice cave – and you get a rare opportunity to explore the glacier and see it from the inside! No worries, you will get protective clothes and shoes if you wish. There a trained guide will take you to an ice tunnel and show you the ice caves which are located high on the glacier. You will get this (probably) once in a lifetime experience and we hope you´ll enjoy it!

The Silver Circle Day Tour:
Deildartunguhver, Krauma and so much more Join this guided tour and get the essential Icelandic experience by visiting places off the beaten track which are oustanding in not only natural beauty but historical importance.
Your adventure begins in Reykjavík where you’ll be picked up in the morning and taken to visit Europes highest outflowing hot spring at Deildartunguhver.
A natural beauty the hot spring is also piped to the town of Borganess and Akranes for heating.
Not far from here we will visit the natural hot baths at Krauma.
Here, you can relax and experience nature from its core by bathing in the geothermal baths (Entrance fee is included in the tour price). The hot water here originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring at Deildartunguhver our first point of call. Interestingly, to achieve the perfect bathing temperature the hot water is mixed with cold water from the smallest glacier in Iceland.
We will then visit Hraunfossar Waterfalls often decribed and being wide and gentle. Whilst not large nor powerful, or narrow and high, the fall is unusual because it is made of thousands of falls that flow out of solidified lava and run as tiny waterfalls and rapids into the Hvitá River.
The next stop on the tour is Barnafoss Waterfall
Another gem, which is not too far away (Side by side of Hraunfossar) Here, the color of the water can be mesmerizing.
The name Barnafoss translates as “Children’s waterfall” and as legend would have it Barnafoss used to have a natural arch. The arch was destroyed by the mother of 2 children who fell from the arch to their deaths.
Our final stop on this tour will be at Reykholt
At one time one of the intellectual centers of Iceland and had for many years one of the most important schools of the country. The poet and politician Snorri Sturluson lived in Reykholt during the Middle ages.
Records of the Old Norse language and mythology of medieval Iceland by Snorri Sturlusonare are invaluable to modern scholars.

This extraordinary tour Thule Travel offers is a great way to see the world renown Golden Circle of Iceland and visit the Secret Lagoon to unwind in a hot spring natural bath. First, we pick you up at your hotel around 8 o´clock. Then we drive to the monumental Þingvellir, which is our national treasure – our national park where the first Alþingi in the world was hosted. That was a general assembly where many of major events in our history took place in the years 930-1798. Þingvellir is on the World Heritage list for its cultural values. Next stop is Gullfoss, the magnificent waterfall, and Geysir – the hot spring. A wealth of things can be noticed at the geothermal area by Geysir in Haukadalur but there the hot spring spouts water several times each hour in a piping hot water column that goes high up in the air, well applauded by those present. The geothermal area is one of the most renowned in the world and has been for centuries. Gullfoss is one of the most majestic waterfalls of Iceland, situated a stone’s throw from Geysir. The waterfall was reserved in 1979 to protect the canyons and the nature surrounding it. The Gullfoss Canyon is around 2,5km long, ranging about 70 meters in height. It is considered that the canyon was mostly formed through grand glacial floods at the end of the Ice Age. Gullfoss is actually two separate waterfalls, the upper waterfall is 11 meters high and the lower 20 meters high. The strata where the waterfall meets the edge have all been formed in the warmer period of the Ice Age. The quantity of water running through Gullfoss is an average of 109 cubic meters per second.
